Direct answer

Choose a browser trainer for immediate access without installation; consider a native app when device features such as scheduled reminders matter to you. PelvicEx works in the browser with local progress, but does not currently provide offline support, native reminders or cross-device sync. Native capabilities vary by product, operating system, permission and paid tier.

How we verified this comparison

Checked on 18 September 2026 using PelvicEx’s browser interface and implementation, US Apple and Google Play descriptions for Dr. Kegel and Kegel Trainer, and public privacy disclosures. The focus is delivery: opening a URL, retaining local records and depending on browser capabilities versus installing a native product. Native reminder claims were read from listings; their delivery reliability, permissions and offline operation were not tested.

PelvicEx publishes this guide and benefits from its use. No paid placements or affiliate links. This comparison uses official listings and our own browser check; competitors were not installed, purchased or tested for privacy, accessibility, offline use or cancellation.

Compare the decision that matters

Option or need What is verified Limit to consider
Start now PelvicEx opens at a URL without installation Interactive trainer needs JavaScript
Keep records PelvicEx stores progress in the current browser Different browsers/devices do not share that history
Reminder priority Native listings advertise scheduled reminders Permissions and tier restrictions require checking
Offline priority PelvicEx has no implemented offline mode Native offline behavior was not tested

Clinical capability and technique

Apps can present education, cues, reminders, settings, and records. They cannot feel whether the pelvic floor closes and lifts, observe substitution, distinguish abdominal pressure from pelvic-floor force, assess tenderness, or diagnose why symptoms occur.

Pricing and access

PelvicEx is currently free. Native examples span optional subscriptions and an upfront purchase in the inspected storefronts. This page does not report a fixed price because region, platform, promotions, and taxes change access.

Privacy and account requirements

PelvicEx currently uses browser-local progress and no account; clearing browser data can remove it. Native apps may use local, cloud, account, analytics, health-data, or platform services. Review the named product’s current privacy policy and store declaration.

Decision checklist

Try the actual device and browser you intend to use. Check cue visibility, comfortable text size, pause/resume and whether switching tabs interrupts a session. Keep the device awake and return to the same browser for local records; do not assume a browser tab behaves like a background mobile service. If offline sessions or scheduled notifications are essential, verify those features in the exact native app and tier before purchase. Installing a native app does not itself prove offline reliability, backup or clinical quality. Export records you need to keep before clearing browser data or changing devices.

What changes the platform choice

Choose around the device and cue environment actually available. A browser can reduce installation friction and work across several screen types, but storage, offline behavior, vibration, notifications, and background timing vary by browser and operating system. A native package may integrate those platform services more deeply, yet updates, permissions, store availability, and device support can create their own barriers.

Test essential accessibility behavior before relying on either format: text resizing, orientation, screen-reader order, keyboard or switch operation, a non-audio alternative, a non-vibration alternative, pause controls, and recovery after interruption. Delivery format is only one design decision; it does not establish that the content, progression, or stop guidance is sound.
